I’ve been building termcraft, a terminal-first 2D sandbox survival game in Rust. The idea is to take the classic early survival progression and adapt it to a side-on terminal format instead of a tile or pixel-art engine. Current build includes: - procedural Overworld, Nether, and End generation - mining, placement, crafting, furnaces, brewing, and boats - hostile and passive mobs - villages, dungeons, strongholds, Nether fortresses, and dragon progression This is still early alpha, but it’s already playable. SmartHome is a free, browser-based game written in vanilla JavaScript and no libraries. I don't want to spoil anything about the gameplay, but if you like text adventures, point-and-click adventure games, puzzle games, escape room games, art games, incremental games, cozy games, and/or RPGs, then this might be your speed. If you find it too hard and don't mind some mild spoilers, then check out the hints page: https://smarthome.steviep.xyz/help Enjoy!

This is something that I've been working on on-and-off in my spare time for the last few years. I started in 2020 during Covid trying to do a Mount and Blade style map in UE4, and it grew from there until where it is now - I would just add a feature, then another, until it came together. Since the start of the year I've really been trying to polish it some more. I've got the full thing planned for a Q3 25 release. I made this game ten years ago without framework. It took my free time for months to develop. I find myself having fun playing it today. Maybe some will enjoy

I'm working on the Survival Crafting RPG that you would have played on your Apple II back in the '80s. You can think of it as Valheim's gameplay crammed into the tile-based UI of the old Ultima games. It has a procedurally-generated open world with towns and NPCs to talk to, all the resource gathering, mining, crafting stuff you'd expect in a modern survival game, and some good old fashioned dungeon crawling to boot. I've been working on it off and on for the last several months. It's complete up through the Bronze Age (in Valheim terms). Let me know what you think!…
