Live AI benchmarks, drift alerts, and smart model routing
What it does
Independent AI benchmarking with continuous drift detection, find out when an AI model silently degrades. We track GPT-5, Claude Opus 5, Gemini 3, DeepSeek V4, Kimi and GLM with live performance scores, CUSUM drift alerts and historical charts. Plus a smart API router that sends every request to the best-performing model, with usage monitoring and budget controls behind one API key.

AI Stupid Level is an independent, real-time benchmarking platform that scores large language models on coding, reasoning, tool-calling and speed, and detects performance drift over time. Below is the live model index. AI providers update the model behind a stable API name without notice, so a model that scored well at launch may behave differently today. We benchmark continuously and apply CUSUM change-point detection to separate a genuine sustained decline from ordinary run-to-run noise. Read how AI drift detection and model degradation tracking works . Every model runs the same suites: a 9-axis code benchmark scored by executing the generated code, a 13-axis deep reasoning benchmark…from aistupidlevel.info

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
