Find the triggers for your hot flashes

The first menopause app that proves your triggers with data

What it does

Most menopause apps track symptoms—but don’t tell you why they happen. MenoCool analyzes your logs to uncover patterns like: • Alcohol → 3x more severe hot flashes • Caffeine + stress → 4x worse together • Afternoon coffee → evening episodes Not guesses—data-backed insights. See what triggers your symptoms, what helps, and how patterns change over time—even when triggers are delayed or combined.

    I made a privacy friendly and simple app to track my menstruation2024 · play.google.com · ▲732

Hey HN, after the app I actually used to track my period wanted me to log in and save my data in the cloud, I decided to write my own. Most apps in this area are based on a subscription model and display far too much information anyway. For me, a simple calendar is enough where I can add a few notes if necessary. So that is the result of my work - a simple design and the data is only saved on the smartphone.

    Caffeine Clock – A beautiful and accurate caffeine tracker appOct 2025 · caffeineclock.app · ▲14

Hi guys! I would love to show you Caffeine Clock 2.0, a tracker I made that shows you your caffeine levels now and in the future, helping you have undisrupted sleep by timing your caffeine better. A bit of context - as a guy who drinks a lot of caffeine, I wanted to make a good caffeine tracking app for a long time, since nothing I found at the time was sufficient. I wanted to make an app that would be easy to use, show you exactly when you’d have enough caffeine to not have your sleep disrupted, and could add all the drinks I usually drink, for free. After several iterations, I am now…

Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
