In plain words
SearchAgora provides an API for accessing a database of 10 million indexed Shopify products. Built for developers, it enables programmatic search and retrieval of product data across Shopify stores. The service offers a ready-made product index that eliminates the need to crawl or aggregate Shopify data manually, making it useful for building price comparison tools, market research applications, or product discovery features.

Agora API2025 · searchagora.com · ▲377Hi HN! I'm building Agora, an AI search engine for e-commerce that returns results in under 300ms. We've indexed 30M products and made them easy to purchase. Think of a decentralized Amazon. We've been working on an API that enables developers to embed our product data, search, purchasing, and order tracking functionality into their own app. We currently have 100k stores in the index and recrawl the entire dataset once every 24 hours. I'd love your feedback.

Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

I was at FB/Meta from late 2013 to early 2023, mostly working in the compiler/runtime spaces. I got hit in the spring 2023 layoff wave. I immediately started making games in my newfound free time (a lifelong interest, and I even worked in AA(A?) back ca. ~2000), and in October 2023 I stumbled upon the idea of a roguelike pachinko/plinko game inspired by Luck Be A Landlord. Things snowballed quickly, I started talking to publishers, then worked like crazy through all of 2024, almost the hardest I've ever worked in my career, and launched the game in December 2024. It's sold…
