I listed all component libraries for any frameworks

I quit my dev job 2 years ago to work on projects I actually care about. I built a CRM for philanthropy as a nonprofit, and on the side, I tinker with fun projects to learn new languages and sharpen my skills. Recently, I was looking for new component libraries to use, but I realized… there’s no single platform showcasing ALL component libraries across frameworks—especially independent, bootstrapped ones. No wonder so many projects default to MUI, DaisyUI, and other mainstream options. So, I decided to fix that. I collected 75+ libraries for React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, Rails, Nuxt, and…

What it does

In the maker’s words, at launch

I quit my dev job 2 years ago to work on projects I actually care about. I built a CRM for philanthropy as a nonprofit, and on the side, I tinker with fun projects to learn new languages and sharpen my skills. Recently, I was looking for new component libraries to use, but I realized… there’s no single platform showcasing ALL component libraries across frameworks—especially independent, bootstrapped ones. No wonder so many projects default to MUI, DaisyUI, and other mainstream options. So, I decided to fix that. I collected 75+ libraries for React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, Rails, Nuxt, and more, then categorized them by features like Dark Mode support, Accessibility, and Customizability. If you've built a component library, you can submit it for free. After launch, users requested more frameworks—so I automated the process with Make, letting me add new libraries in under an hour. Hope you'll find new libraries to try on for your next projects and let me know if you know more or want to see new frameworks added to it

    I made a book with a hundred UI/UX tips2021 · ▲198

Hello. This year I dived into UI/UX area and at the same time I work as a web developer. I sincerely love making good UI. But at my full time job it's not always possible due to different reasons =\ So I've been posting random UI/UX staff on Twitter, then I made a free book that had 50 tips (posted it here as well). I decided to finish this year by collecting everything I learned and here it is: https://akcium.gumroad.com/l/ui-ux-tips. This time it's a paid one. But, you can check ~20 pages of it, just go to…

Hello HN! The day has finally come to stop adding features and start sharing what I've been building the last 5-6 months. It's a bit of CrewAI, OpenDevon, LangFuse/Cloud all in one, providing devs who prefer TypeScript an integrated framework thats provides a lot out of the box to start experimenting and building agents with. It started after peeking at the LangChain docs a few times and never liking the example code. I began experimenting with automating a simple Jira request from the engineering team to add an index to one of our Google Spanner databases (for context I'm the…

I was at FB/Meta from late 2013 to early 2023, mostly working in the compiler/runtime spaces. I got hit in the spring 2023 layoff wave. I immediately started making games in my newfound free time (a lifelong interest, and I even worked in AA(A?) back ca. ~2000), and in October 2023 I stumbled upon the idea of a roguelike pachinko/plinko game inspired by Luck Be A Landlord. Things snowballed quickly, I started talking to publishers, then worked like crazy through all of 2024, almost the hardest I've ever worked in my career, and launched the game in December 2024. It's sold…

i wanted to change the habit of reaching for my phone in the morning and doomscrolling away an hour so i built an app to help me. now i have to literally touch grass before accessing my most distracting apps the app is built in swiftui, uses the screen time apis provided by apple and google vision to recognise grass or not i'd love to get your thoughts on the concept.
