The original was created using Python and Redis (later Go and Redis) but this one is using just one Elixir server and HAProxy for SSL termination. It's also using S3 to show the overview page where all the checkboxes are drawn on a 1000x1000 canvas. I had 14,000 photos sitting on a drive and wanted an excuse to play with local vision models and Elixir/Phoenix. Getting web3 data out of Ethereum nodes or node services is excruciatingly slow (at least days if not weeks). I had wanted a way to just download the blocks quickly since I started exploring the web3 space. Made this to try out o1-preview, took ~40 prompts and 3 hours in total, with a fairly solid backed written in Go. Works pretty badly in Firefox apparently due to canvas-canvas copies being really slow, Chrome works great tho. Doesn't work well on mobile yet, and has some other minor issues, but overall it feels incredible to put together something like this so quickly.
