Saw the remotion claude skills launch earlier, and honestly even though I was surprised how decent some of the results turned out to be I ended up never trying it out with claude code because I knew I'd have to setup remotion, bundler etc and if I was already doing it once I thought I might as well turn it into a site where anyone could just write messages and get a video without any prerequisites. heylo! open sourcing a plugin that I've been daily driving for a month. And I promise, I can't go back to vanilla Claude Code. I'm a heavy Claude Code user, and a couple of things kept bugging me. Claude really likes to jump into code. And its responses are too long. I'd skim past walls of text just to find the recommendation. Plan mode helps, but it didn't go deep enough. I participated in the Nvidia + Vercel 2 hour hackathon in SF tonight, and built something I've wanted, but hadn't tried building. I implemented an MCP Server and VS Code extension to allow Claude Desktop to place breakpoints, step through code, and execute expressions (assuming language support). So you can ask it a question that requires actually stepping through the code and now it can actually do that - check values for you, etc. It's _definitely_ not perfect. Have improvements? Ok so over the last 9 days I built lmpify. my personal driver was i want to replace claude because it's annoying. Their Claude3.7 model is perfect for coding, but the Claude.ai interface doesn't cut it for me for these reasons: - Very slow to start up and TTFT is terrible. lmpify hits within 100ms and doesn't need to wait for pageload to start seeing result, result is already starting in DO as soon as you submit. - Claude doesn't support URLs out of the box. I've been experimenting with ways to increase AI adoption for non-technical people. Basically, all companies are pushing for AI because it's all over the news and they feel left behind but most people have no clue where to start. I think 90% of people (ie non coders) are sufficiently well served by using cowork instead of claude code or something similar. I wanted to share a project I have been working on over the past week. It is a simple local memory system that saves your sessions into Markdown files, which can be viewed later. I developed this after using Claude Mem. I really enjoyed working with it, but it was consuming a lot of RAM, and each Claude session was becoming a major resource hog. I also tried other plugins and MCP solutions, but ran into similar issues, either slow performance or concerns about data being sent elsewhere. Because privacy was a big thing for me, I decided to build my own solution that keeps all data local.

The main goal of this was to be able to not just run multiple Claude Code sessions at once, but actually manage them and keep track of what I was doing. Sometimes this is multiple attempts on the same task, sometimes I work several tasks at once. Really I was just sick of twiddling my thumbs waiting for the coding agent to finish, and I wanted it to be easy to work on/review/test another change while I waited.

Hi guys; Over the weekend I've created this using Claude Code. It's an ear training app destined to teach intonation and intervals to not so talented musicians like me. I spend many year playing guitar without a clear feeling on what intonation really was. It was after some string tuning exercises that it clicked for me. The freq sliding into the right place and feeling the correctness. I hope this app can helps other to feel that for the first time, or to increase the recognition of less common intervals. After a year of producing all my code through Claude Code, I was growing frustrated with losing Terminal tabs and not noticing when sessions are ready to continue.
