I made https://videofa.st This is a web app to add automatic subtitles/captions into your short videos, I created this app because I was wasting so much time to add subtitles manually into my own social short videos and the quality was poor, but now it's easy and fast! I also needed to pay my bills and so I thought: why not help others getting access to this time saver app? That's how I decided to make it becomes a Saas and to share it with you today! I wanted a proper non-linear video editor built for the web. It always annoyed me how there are practically zero functioning web video editors. And here we are :) Kimu can: - Work with Video, Audio & Text. - Supports Transitions. - Non-Linear Video Editing with z-axis overlays. - Split/trim - Export - A cute AI agent (coming soon!) Hey HN community! I'm one of the lead devs of this project at fal.ai and we created an open source lightweight video editor powered by the latest media AI models. Hi HN, Just wanted to share a tool i've been working on to help with my own study routine. It’s a browser extension called Lingoku. The idea is simple: we spend hours browsing the web in English every day. This tool replaces some of the english words with Japanese vocabulary based on your japanese level (Similar to Toucan, but with a better user experience).
