Products that do what I created a site to list all UK Outside-IR35 (only) contracts does

I hope this helps some people find a gig in the current hard times, as it did me. Let me know if you find any issues. Note: I've recently added remote EMEA contracts as another source of leads.

For the last several years I've been creating a ERP platform, Stockor. While I'm going to continue offering it as a SaaS, I've decided to also open-source it. I'm hopeful that by doing so it will: 1) Grow it into a Wordpress size juggernaut with a plugin for any business process under the sun. 2) Bring me interesting consulting gigs. The open-source site is at stockor.org. There's a demo up at stockor.com/demo as well. Looking forward to hearing HN's thoughts!

Based on the multiple "Who's hiring remotely?" and similar posts on HN, I thought it might be useful to have a site that aggregates remote programming jobs. There is way too much spam out and an inconsistent way to say "work from home" so traditional searching doesn't work (or rather, takes a long time per person). I've worked in a few remote programming positions so I figured I might know of some companies or searching tricks to find them. Let me know if you'd find this type of thing useful. If we can get some traffic going, then maybe we can start attracting companies to actually list…

Hey Guys, We created Leadmachine after a HUGE pivot on ignite100(UK incubator). We could see the pain of all the other startups wasting money and buying poor leads while struggling to find those early customers. Wouldn't it be cool to have contact details for all websites using Olark or Google analytics while turning over £100,000 in the UK? We can do that with Leadmachine. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have or listen to feedback!

This was more of a sandbox to play with Raphael and Flot than anything else but I think there are some interesting statistics in there. It'd be awesome to do this over time but I really don't have the spare time required.

I've been working on this the last few days after seeing a post on reddit calling for this exact website to exist. I'm hoping the email-less/account-less and open data might be appealing. I'd love any feedback you might have, and of course if you were to volunteer some data ;) I'm aware it looks bad on mobile atm.

Hey folks, There has been some talk about search engines here so I thought maybe I'd share a new project I'm working on. Built it partly to help me sell my own projects. Still a lot of work to be done but would be happy to get feedback. Very early phase so don't trust your life with it. Cheers --- Edit: if anyone needs a free/no CC account just DM me on https://www.linkedin.com/in/crufter/

Hi HN, https://companies.bx.tc My colleague and I put together this tool for easily searching UK company data. We run a few server side batches daily to extract data from various government sources before linking it all together in (what is now) a fairly large database. We're also using this project as a way to test out a new JS UI library we built (similar to Vue, but a bit faster) to see how it stands up in a real project. We'd love to hear your feedback and any ideas you have for how we can improve the dashboard! Thanks :)

I was thinking the other days; what's the biggest and the easiest market to enter and start winning money directly and found out, It's the job market. There way too much money in this market and choosing the correct niche in it might help you start a simple business that wins ton of money. That's how I came up with my project RemoteInSpain. There are tons of people who wants to work in remote and in spain is not an exception. So I created my website after some research and I have already 100 visits per day and the website is just 2 days old. Talk about a jackpot

Hey HN! First post btw I want to share a product we are developing right now. It's a thing to gather your data from LinkedIn, GitHub, StackOverflow (and a couple more things in the future) and we obviously use LLMs under the hood :D So the idea of using it is that you don't need to share 69 links and docs and can use one link (or download PDF) now. When you connect all the stuff you will see your profile with a radar chart, which represents your "domains". The next thing will be a section with ai-generated-summary-bio + section with things you're open to. Then a section with work experience…

Hello everyone. Just launched my project called "SideProjectors". It's a market place to sell and buy side projects. Would love to hear your feedback on it. Better yet, would love to see if you have any side projects you would like to sell (or offer) to others. I had the idea for awhile, there has also been several "Sell HN" threads. Anyway, here's to the MVP! Thanks.

Hey HN! Something I've created recently. As someone who believes, and advocates for remote, and work from home policies, I couldn't find a place where you could see the latest policy for companies. It's pretty raw, and I'm working on adding more information as I go. But I also accept contributions from the community. So if you have information, and can share it—I'd appreciate it. Let me know what do you think.

After getting a lot of feedback on my project FinanceLinx.com, which helps startups and growing businesses with finding grants and government backed loans, I've decided to make some of the information public. If you go to the site now, there's an option to request a sample of the financing data. Please let me know how I can improve this, any constructive feedback is welcome!

Hey HN! Quick TL; DR: I set up scrapers for the websites of ~20k tech companies, fed the results through GPT, spent some sleepless nights building a web app, and voilá. I started this after getting fed up with how slow LinkedIn felt. I finally got it working and easy to use, so I wanted to share it with you guys. The job list is free. But I’m currently paying a lot of money to OpenAI for all the data I’m passing through GPT, so I may end up eventually charging for some advanced features, or putting ads on it or something. Please let me know what you think! I’m actively developing this so I’m…

I kept on reading you guys on how to do it, how not to do it. On January I started with thinkpython, learn python the hard way, mit course on programming, and every other python material I found. You just need to find the best resourse for YOU. I did Udacity's CS253 course, got my certificate and made my MVP! If your one of those guys like me, just get your ideas out there and the project will push you forward. Farm management software in South America is broken. We still have cd and downloadable updates. I was a software engineer at a late stage startup and was caught in a layoff this January. When I looked into exercising my options or getting liquidity, I realized the secondary market is a total black box. Liquidity funds spend a fortune on Google Ads just to find people like us. Those high marketing costs eventually come out of our pockets in the form of higher fees and worse terms. I built StrikeRates to change that. The site is meant to be a central resource for anyone navigating this. I included a Liquidity 101 section that explains the different financial vehicles because that…

Hi all, Been a while since I've posted and in the time since I have created a trading journal website where you can submit and track your trades with the USP of tracking your outgoings too. There has been a huge rise in the number of retail traders (me included) and a lot of people now have the very real possibility of quitting their day jobs and trading full time. I want to help people do that! It's still in very early stages and I'm releasing new updates daily but would be very grateful to get some other peoples feedback! Thanks in advance and hope you're all having a good day! :D

Hey everyone I wanted to share something I made: vcdir.com - a global, 100% free directory of 1300+ venture capital firms. Most VC databases I found were either outdated, overly complex, or hidden behind a paywall. So I decided to make one that’s: It’s 100% free to browse, no signup or paywall required. It lists 1,300+ VC firms from around the world (and the number keeps growing). Lets you filter by country, continent, investment phase, and market focus Each firm’s page includes basic informations like short description portfolio links, website, contact info, investment focus. Includes…

Yo HN - I built BidSonar, a free index of UK & EU public-sector contracts and grants, which today I just shipped an MCP server for. The data is all public, scattered across a bunch of gov portals - I built the platform a couple years back as an aggregator. I've been using the MCP side to keep an eye on contract/grant opportunities for my services business and our clients which I'm finding (not surprisingly) more effective than navigating the traditional UI. Data's under OGL and the EU TED reuse notice; not affiliated with any procurement body - free to use, you just need an account. For…
