Hello HN! I realized how often my mind wanders while waiting for Claude to finish "thinking". So I built Clauditate, a lightweight meditation menubar app that helps you with some breathing exercises. It uses Claude Code hooks and pops up with a breathing guide. I added some heuristics to make it less "annoying", for example if you dismiss it twice within 30 mins, it won't show up for another 2 hours. Every time Claude Code thinks, you get 10-60s of idle time, usually spent on context switching or doomscrolling. I turned it into breathing exercises that keep you focused and improve your heart rate variability. Auto-launches a tmux pane using hooks when Claude starts working and disappears when it finishes.

I was going through my app subscriptions and realized I was paying $15 for a pretty good workout app, which seemed a bit high to me. Hi guys; Over the weekend I've created this using Claude Code. It's an ear training app destined to teach intonation and intervals to not so talented musicians like me. I spend many year playing guitar without a clear feeling on what intonation really was. It was after some string tuning exercises that it clicked for me. The freq sliding into the right place and feeling the correctness. I hope this app can helps other to feel that for the first time, or to increase the recognition of less common intervals. Uses agent and Git Hooks to automatically create Git Notes on commit, containing the agent conversation that led to that commit. Works if either you or the agent commit. It's basically the same thing as entire.io just announced that they got $60m investment for. Except I got Claude Code to write it last week, in my spare time, without really paying attention.
