Products that do what VaporVibe – auto-generate video demos for vibe-coded projects does
Hi HN, I built VaporVibe as a fun April Fools hack: https://vapor.influme.ai/ It auto-generates short video demos for your side projects. Just drop in a GitHub repo and a public URL where it’s hosted, and it creates a clean video walkthrough of the app. It’s designed for the kind of projects that are 90% vibe, 10% code, and not quite ready for launch… but still deserve a trailer. Example project: https://github.com/cndn/recipe-discovery-playbook — vibe-coded, demo in the README. Would love any feedback on UX, performance, or ideas on what else to support.…

Hey all! I've been using this stack personally for a while now and decided to automate it a bit by turning it into a template I can reuse. Hope others might find it helpful!

Hi HN! A month ago, I realized I was wasting ~40 minutes every day staring at “Generating…” bars on v0, Lovable, and Bolt—enough time to completely lose track of what I was building. That's why I built Vibesuite! Features: Instant desktop + sound notifications (no more manual checking!) Dynamic tab titles – "Generating..." in tab bar Metrics — see how long code generating took Auto-switch – immediately brings you back to the right tab when code is ready Today it supports v0.dev and lovable.dev, and support for bolt.new is coming very soon. Try it out here:…

This was submitted before but it didn't seem to get much attention because I don't think the title was very descriptive and the submitter was brand new. I almost didn't click it but once I did I thought the project was pretty awesome and had a lot of promise. Hope this doesn't violate the rules, I have no horse in the game, but the creator is here on the site so hopefully he'll be able to answer your questions.

I know vibe coding is controversial. I wanted to give it a try so over the last ~4 weeks I tried vibe coding a blender/houdini inspired node based 3d geneartion app in my spare time. The original goal was to try to generate great looking 3d environments from relatively small data. Most games download megs or gigs of data and that's no good for web based things. If you're an AI skeptic still, maybe seeing more concretely what's possible today might convince you otherwise? I'm not making any claim the code is good, though I'm also not claiming is bad. I had fun giving it a try. I was…

It took me about a week to vibe code this 3D game engine with Opus 4.6 that I intend to use as a replacement for Three.js and React Three Fiber in my browser MMORPG, Mana Blade. I was not expecting to be able to reach that point so easily, but pretty much every feature took somewhere between 30 minutes and 1 hour - 1 to 3 prompts on average. It is vibe-coded in the sense that I haven't looked at the code, but I am very careful with my prompts and constantly have Claude reviewing the codebase, looking for performance and code quality improvements. It can reach 2000 draw calls on recent…

Hey HN, my name is Sam. My buddy Danny and I (and our good friend Claude) have been making this fun app to make and share vibe games. You just describe whatever game pops into your deranged little mind, and BLAMO! there it is, playable on your phone in under 30 seconds. Super Mario Breakout? BLAMO! https://www.blamo.ai/vibes/7350a500-09bb-4ed9-866d-001006f6f... Text Adventure PacMan? BLAMO! https://www.blamo.ai/vibes/781cdd12-bc00-4f1a-8c6c-9726e143f... And not just games, they can be little digital toys, and you can use generative AI _inside_ your…

So, I've never written a line of Rust in my life. I wouldn't know an `&mut this` from a mutandis. But I saw a tweet about a month ago that said, in this new era of AI, you'd be able to just take a library that you love, throw a TUI around it, and call it an app. So I spent about 200 bucks last month, here's what I came up with: Imbolc is a DAW that runs entirely in your terminal. It talks to scsynth over OSC and ships 58 instruments and 39 effects. VSTs are a work in progress, also GarageBand loops if you want to recreate "Umbrella". The codebase is about 60k? lines of Rust across 5 crates,…

I've been using Cursor, Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, Claude and what not since quite some time now, and we are at a stage where we can just "vibe code" whole apps from idea to execution in a few prompts. I tried this personally to create some side projects that solved little problems for me. But I always got stuck at a point where it just goes into an infinite loop of issues and can't solve the issue by itself. Well I'm a developer, so it's easier for me to dive into the code and solve the problem myself, but that would take a hell lot of time to understand all the code AI wrote for me. If I keep…

Over the last months, more people are shipping small apps, experiments, and side-projects at a much higher pace. I'm one of them and initially created a showcase page for myself to track them but this week decided to create something for others. Happy to read feedback on how to improve it further!

Hey HN! I wanted to practice "vibe coding" and see how far and fast I can go by only prompting, without actual coding. I decided to make a simple CLI app that scrapes web docs into a single md file (I was annoyed that LLM keeps writing Tailwind 3 code for a Tailwind 4 project). In just a couple of hours, the CLI app was ready! Then iterated on arguments for another couple of hours. Result: https://github.com/vladstudio/web2llm Then I decided to go further and "productize" the CLI by making a web app for it. Another half-day, and the web app is ready!…

Hey HN! I’ve created (co-created with my co-founder) a tool called demoshake that helps you build interactive demos and use them in your sales process. The idea is simple - you create as many demos as you want, group them and let your sales team use them in their demos calls. You can embed demos in your landing page (iframe style) too. I welcome any criticism and suggestions! Harun

I recently made this game Doge Decimator with the websim team, and wanted to make a process video for the steps I took to make it in an AI-native platform! You can check out every single iteration the site went through from the links in the description :)
